Strawberry milkshakes, strawberry salads, strawberry muffins…. I love strawberries. But you know what I don’t love? My strawberry skin. If you suffer from this like I do, don’t worry! There are products that can help – most notably, First Aid Beauty’s KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub, which I have the pleasure of reviewing for you today.
What Is Strawberry Skin?

You may not have heard this term before, but I guarantee you know what it is – especially since about 40% of adults struggle with the condition.
Clinically, this condition is called Keratosis Pilaris (KP), which is a common condition that consists of tiny red bumps that resemble goosebumps caused by plugs of dead skin cells. When the skin is covered by these tiny red bumps, they can resemble strawberry skin. Factors like shaving can also cause this condition where razor-damaged follicles on the legs become enlarged or clogged, creating the appearance of dark spots that resemble (yup, you guessed it) strawberry seeds.
KP Bump Eraser: A Miracle Product for Strawberry Skin
Not only does First Aid’s KP Bump Eraser come from a renowned company, but it is a body scrub. Sweeping away dry, rough bumps associated with KP, strawberry skin, and booty bumps, it reveals healthier skin that feels exceptionally smooth.
So it’s a body scrub… why is it so special? Glad you asked. It is safe for sensitive skin and fast-acting using Glycolic & Lactic acids, at a combined level of 10% AHAs, to help resurface skin’s top layer. On top of this, it has pumice to physically exfoliate; improve skin’s texture; and smooth away bumps, roughness, and scaly areas, also known as chicken skin.
I implemented this product in my shaving routine and was seriously surprised with the results. First, I lathered up with The Earthling Co body wash bar using my organic loofah, rinsed, then used the KP Bump Eraser to scrub all the dead skin off, giving me a closer shave and leaving my skin feeling silky smooth. After I shave, I use the Eucerine Roughness Lotion.
… And voila! Now, I get smooth legs, every time.
My Final Thoughts
This product is wonderful, but it can be pricey – especially given the relatively small options. If this is out of your budget, you can always make a brown sugar and coffee ground scrub to help. However, you won’t have the maximum benefits of the KP Bump Eraser.
Regardless, I absolutely recommend this Bump Eraser for your strawberry skin. I hope this helps you get the skin you have been dreaming of!
